Hi, my name is Naomi. I am a wife and mother of three children. I love creating and bringing my ideas and passions to life.
I am British, born in the UK, but with a strong African culture. I’ve always been a product junky- testing, trying, and spending money on hair and skin products. However, nothing ever satisfied me or gave me the results I was looking for. There was only ever one product that gave me that had amazing results. This product was shea butter from Ghana (where my family originate from ). My mother and father would bring shea butter back to the UK after their trips to Ghana. It always left my skin feeling very soft, moisturised, and hydrated.
After moving to Australia I had my first child, my son. My son experienced bad eczema when he was just a few months old. It seemed to worsen and didn’t improve after trying steroid
creams or other ointments. I remembered my mother using her butter on my skin after a bath. So I did the same with my son. I instantly saw an improvement. After a few days, his skin improved and the redness was gone, and the itchiness had stopped! His skin had started to heal, and he began to look and feel so much better. That’s when Shea Purity was born.
I became passionate about creating my own natural oils and butter using the same amazing formula my mother used on me and her mother used on her.
Having children made me realise just how beneficial it was to create one product that I could use on my whole family from hair to toe and be cost-effective.
Shea Purity in Canberra. I wanted to share my knowledge about natural products with my network of friends and let them see the benefits for themselves. This turned out to be a huge success. My friends were extremely happy as the results were instant. So, after much encouragement from them to pursue my passions further, here I am!
